Bringing ideas to life at the remarkable intersection of business, education, and leadership

I work across education, business, and public life to turn ideas into systems that serve real people. My work is grounded in rigorous scholarship, shaped by lived experience, and focused on building institutions that help communities move forward. I invite you to explore my initiatives across education, business, and community — and how these threads come together in practice.

Why This Work Matters

INTRODUCTION

I believe ideas matter most when they improve real lives.

Across education, business, and public institutions, I’ve seen how easily good intentions fall short when they aren’t matched with clear leadership and thoughtful design. When systems work, people thrive. When they don’t, individuals are left navigating complexity alone.

My work focuses on closing that gap, bringing clarity, accountability, and empathy to the systems that shape opportunity. Whether in a classroom, an organization, or a community setting, I’m drawn to work that helps people move forward with dignity and confidence.

The future is still human and I’m here to help us build.

How I Work

Leadership Philosophy

I approach leadership as both a discipline and a practice.

I hold a doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership from University of Southern California, where my work focused on how institutions evolve, how decisions shape outcomes, and why change efforts succeed or fail over time. That training informs how I study systems, assess tradeoffs, and think beyond short-term wins.

But my work has never lived solely in theory.

My approach is shaped equally by lived experience—as an Air Force officer, educator, entrepreneur, nonprofit leader, and college instructor. I’ve worked inside large institutions and small teams, in moments of stability and moments of uncertainty. Those environments taught me that clarity matters, listening matters, and leadership is most effective when it is steady rather than loud.

When I take on work, I focus on three things:

  • understanding the system as it actually functions, not how it’s described,

  • centering people who are affected by decisions, not just those making them,

  • and building structures that can hold over time.

I don’t chase disruption for its own sake. I’m interested in thoughtful change—grounded in evidence, guided by values, and carried out with care.

BTR TMRW Center for Advancement

Building inclusive pathways where opportunity has been historically limited.

I founded BTR TMRW Center for Advancement to address a gap I saw repeatedly in education and workforce systems: students with intellectual disabilities reaching the end of high school without meaningful post-secondary options.

BTR TMRW focuses on designing inclusive pathways that connect education to real opportunity—through post-secondary programs, workforce preparation, and community-based models that respect dignity, capability, and potential. This work blends research, policy awareness, and lived experience, translating insight into programs that help students and families move forward with confidence.

At its core, BTR TMRW is about designing systems that reflect the full range of human ability—and refusing to accept exclusion as inevitable.

THE NONPROFIT MISSION

Bayhaus Creative

Helping ideas take shape through clarity, strategy, and thoughtful execution.

I am Co-Founder and Principal of Bayhaus Creative, a strategy and content development studio that helps founders and organizations bring ideas to life. Our work sits at the intersection of storytelling, structure, and growth—helping teams clarify who they are, what they’re building, and how to move forward with purpose.

Rooted in Bay Area innovation and inspired by Bauhaus principles, Bayhaus Creative treats clarity as a strategic advantage. We work alongside organizations not just to communicate ideas, but to build the systems and assets that allow those ideas to scale responsibly.

This work complements my leadership and education efforts by turning vision into momentum—without losing sight of values.
